Traditional Country Music is ALIVE!

John Lovern is a Kentucky singer/songwriter from the small town of Berea. John and his band, the Pearl Snaps, have spent the last 6 years traveling the state of Kentucky, playing countless honky tonks and barrooms, in an effort to keep traditional/classic country music alive.

The band consists of an ALL-STAR lineup including various other local musicians such as, Wess Mills on drums/percussion (Hasty Street, Bittersweet Station), Phil Malicote on bass (Renfro Valley Entertainment Center House Band '76 - '86, Stampede Lexington Band '84, Classic Tymes, Tina Taylor), Billy Lovern on Lead Guitar (John's Father; Josh Logan Band, Stampede Lexington Band '84, Renfro Valley Entertainment Center House Band '88 - '89, Classic Tymes, Tina Taylor), Brynn Lovern on Harmonica and Vocals (John's Older Brother), and a long roster of Pedal Steel musicians.

Recent highlights include; opening performances for Ward Davis, Shenandoah, Doug Stone, David Lee Murphy, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Lawrence, Eddie Montgomery and Multi- Grammy Award Winner, Randy Travis.
